WHAT INSPIRES US?
For 23 years, Elizabeth Osorio Zapata has been supporting elderly people who, for various reasons, find themselves alone, abandoned, and/or in a state of vulnerability.
FUNDACIÓN VIRA was born in honor of a very special human being, taken in by Elizabeth's parents 43 years ago after her son sold the house where she lived. Her name is Elvira, and this Angel is now 93 years old — and as a curious fact, she was born in the year '32, wears a size 32 shoe, and stands 1.32 m tall.
WHAT WE DO?
We provide comprehensive care to improve the quality of life of our elders every day.
Provide a home:
We offer home and family to vulnerable elderly adults.
Health care:
We provide a nursing and specialized gerontology clinic.
Comprehensive services:
We include meals, therapeutic spaces, television and a prayer room.
Professional team:
We have a gerontologist, psychologist, physiotherapist and nutritionist.
